When we heard about MilkMuny Wallets, we wanted to spread the good word about what this Portland, OR company is doing with recycled waste. While paperboard milk cartons are excepted at many recycling facilities around the country, it’s tough to recycle them because of their wax coating. In fact, there are over 510,000 tons of milk and juice cartons produced per year and only .05% actually get recycled!
