Information about ReBound Comb Binding Kit

When our customers told us that they would like a better environmental solution to document finishing, we followed up with a ReBound! ReBound is a combination of a clear PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) Report Cover and an FSC Certified, recycled chipboard backer report cover that works with any coil or comb binding systems (GBC© , Renz© , etc).

One comment I have is about the tagline on the clear covers regarding the material being recycled. I do like that it's there, however I wish you had the option of choosing whether the type was oriented landscape or portrait. While I do bind things in portrait layout most often, occasionally I need to bind presentations in landscape format, and it would look better if the type was printed along the 11" side instead of the 8.5" side. In the past I had sent proposals out for binding with clear acetate over the printed cover. The plant-based compostable film allows for the same effect, guilt-free! The "chipboard" is essentially cardboard - it is FLEXIBLE. Based on having previously ordered the chipboard binders, which are stiff and thick, I expected them to be more substantial. All in all a good product we can feel good about using. (Posted on 2/23/11)
